Griant African Snail farming with Club P.A.N.

Griant African Snail farming at the Club P.A.N. school in Sakré, Cote d'Ivoire is working out very well! We started the farm in 2010 with 40 snails and we now have more than 500 snails living in 6 enclosures, 200 of which will be ready for sale soon.

The children from Sakré love their farm and they are taking very good care of the snails.

We believe that the only way to ensure future generations will stop bushmeat hunting and value their natural resources is if they have viable alternatives to eating meat originating from the forest. Snail meat is cheap, hardy and already part of the Ivorian diet.

Thanks to all the people that helped us and donated to the project!
